System Variable 960: Raise a Notification to Users on System Updates

Use System Variable 960: Raise a Notification to Users on System Updates to send a conversation notification to users within WorkBook after an update.

This System Variable is a part of the Setup grouping.

The notification will appear as a normal conversation started by the Admin user with the following message: 
WorkBook is updated to build xxxx.xx.xx, 2020-01-01 18:42:11.000
With System Variable 960, you can also define the recipients of the message. The options are:
  • Disable notification: The notification is disabled. No one will be informed about the update.
  • System administrator: Every user with the System Administrator license type will be informed about the update.
  • Advanced user and high user levels: Every user with the Advanced user license type and above (System Administrator) will be informed about the update.
  • Basic user and higher user levels: Every user with the Basic user license type and above (Advanced and System Administrator) will be informed about the update.
