Restrict the Details of an Absence Code

Use the Company Variables submodule to restrict the details of an absence code.

To use the Company Variables submodule, you must have access to Settings as defined in the User Access Rights submodule under Settings.

Before you can restrict the details of an absence code, you must first restrict employees' absence details. For instructions, see Restrict Employees' Absence Details (Company Variable 70).

To restrict the details of an absence code:

  1. On the main toolbar, click Settings .
  2. If you have more than one company in your system, use the drop-down list above the left navigation pane of the Settings screen to select the company containing the company variable value that you want to modify.
  3. In the left navigation pane of the Settings screen, click Company Settings > Holidays and Absence.
  4. On the Holidays and Absence screen, click the Absence Codes tab
  5. Under the Restrict Details column, select the check box that corresponds to the absence code whose details you want to restrict.
