Restrict Access to Setup - All Settings in Chart of Accounts

Use the Employee Cross-company Access submodule to allow or restrict access of Advanced Users to the settings in the Chart of Accounts submodule.

To use the Employee Cross-company Access submodule, you must have access to Settings as defined in the User Access Rights submodule under Settings.

To give an Advanced User access to the settings in the Chart of Accounts submodule:

  1. Take any of the following actions:
    • Go to Settings and click Employee Settings > Employee Cross-Company Access.
    • Go to Resources and click Resource Information > Settings > Login Settings.
  2. Highlight the employee account of the Advanced User that you want to give access to the settings in the Chart of Accounts submodule and select the Allow Access to Settings checkbox.
  3. Highlight another row and perform a hard refresh to save the changes.
  4. If you want to restrict the access of an Advanced User to the settings in the Chart of Accounts submodule:
    1. Highlight the employee account of the Advanced User that you want to restrict access to the settings in the Chart of Accounts submodule.
    2. Clear the Allow Access to Settings checkbox.
    3. Highlight another row and perform a hard refresh to save the changes.
