Enable Time Entry Approver Roles as Secondary Approvers

Use the Time Entry Approval submodule to enable time entry approver roles as secondary approvers.

To use the Time Entry Approval submodule, you must have access to Settings as defined in the User Access Rights submodule under Settings.

To enable a time entry approver role as a secondary approver:

  1. On the main toolbar, click Settings .
  2. If you have more than one company in your system, use the drop-down list above the left pane of the Settings screen to select the company containing the time entry approver role that you want to enable as a second approver.
  3. In the left pane of the Settings screen, click Company Approvals > Time Entry Approval.
  4. Highlight the time entry approver role that you want to enable as a second approver and select the Secondary check box.
    Note: The enabled second approver can only approve a time entry after the primary approver has given his approval.
