Add New Time Entry Approver Roles

Use the Time Entry Approval submodule to add new time entry approver roles.

To use the Time Entry Approval submodule, you must have access to Settings as defined in the User Access Rights submodule under Settings.

To add a new time entry approver role:

  1. On the main toolbar, click Settings .
  2. If you have more than one company in your system, use the drop-down list above the left pane of the Settings screen to select the company to which you want to add a new time entry approver role.
  3. In the left pane of the Settings screen, click Company Approvals > Time Entry Approval.
  4. On the grid toolbar, click Add Role .
  5. In the Add Role dialog box, use the drop-down list to select the role that you want to add as a time entry approver and click OK.
  6. You can edit the Priority, Trigger Amount, Employee, Limit to Job, Limit to Client, and Limit to Billable Jobs fields by double-clicking on the corresponding field.
    Note: The Trigger Amount, Employee, and Limit to Job field are not editable for all time entry approver roles.
