Update Debtor Transaction Due Dates

Update the due date in the Transactions tab grid if there is a change in the transaction's terms of payment. For instance, the debtor has paid earlier than the due date or if a debtor needs an extension date for the due transaction.

To use the Debtor List submodule, you must have access to Finance & Administration as defined in the User Access Rights submodule under Settings.

To update a debtor transaction due date:

  1. On the main toolbar, click Finance & Administration
  2. If you have more than one company in your system, use the drop-down list above the left pane of the Finance & Administration screen to select the company for which you will update debtor transaction due dates.
  3. In the left pane of the Finance & Administration screen, click Debtors > Debtor list.
  4. Click the List tab and highlight the debtor with the transaction due date you want to update.
  5. Click the Transactions tab and highlight the transaction whose due date you want to update.
  6. Double-click the due date and select a new date.
