Vantagepoint enables you to proactively manage and deliver successful projects. The Projects hub is your command center: it places your projects and clients at the center of your business so you can manage all aspects of your portfolio of projects from a single area. - Resource Management
Vantagepoint provides powerful, yet easy to use, applications that support your resource management activities. - Accounting
Use the Vantagepoint Accounting application to manage the day-to-day financial activity of your enterprise. You can also generate reports that help you assess project and enterprise-wide financial performance. - Processing Cycle
A processing cycle is a period of time during which transactions are entered, processed, and posted. Each cycle follows a regular sequence. - Organization Reporting
Use the Organization Reporting application to track the performance of individual organizations in your enterprise. Similar to profit centers, organizations are business units that incur expenses and/or generate revenue. - Multiple Companies
If your enterprise is made up of multiple legal entities, you can use the Multicompany application to track all of your companies in a single database. You will have a comprehensive view of the transactions, interactions, and activities of all the companies in your enterprise and can track intercompany transactions, including intercompany billings. - Multiple Currencies
The Multicurrency feature lets your enterprise transact business in any number of global currencies, while maintaining core financial records in a single, functional currency. - Multiple Languages
Vantagepoint supports several languages. Forms, dialog boxes, alerts, info bubbles, and reports display information in the language that you select when you log in to Vantagepoint. - Business Process Management
Through business process management, you can use standard protocols to call advanced Vantagepoint functionality or third-party applications. - Security
System administrators use Security settings to grant or restrict a user's access to applications, forms, records, and options. - Historical Data
Most likely, when you install and begin using Vantagepoint, you will already have a great deal of project and accounting data stored in other places. You must supply Vantagepoint with a certain amount of this historical data (such as account balances as of the installation cutoff date) for your processing and reporting to make sense. - Asset Management
Asset Management is an optional application that you use in conjunction with the Equipment hub to track and process depreciation or amortization for asset items that you capitalize. - Purchasing and Inventory
Use the Purchasing application to automate your record-keeping for both internal and project-related procurement and receiving of services, materials, supplies, and capital items. Use the Inventory application to automate the management and tracking of inventory items.
