Contents of the Sub-Row Selection Dialog Box for the Labor Planning Grid

Select the sub-rows to display in the labor planning grid of the Plan form in the Projects hub.

The Show: Billing/Cost selection above the grid does not affect what you see in the calendar columns. Select cost and billing sub-rows to see those amounts in the calendar columns.

This list contains the sub-rows that you can include in the Labor Planning grid. To add a sub-row to the grid, you must select it from the list.

Field Description
Planned Hours

For a WBS row, this sub-row displays the sum of all planned hours, including past and estimate-to-complete (ETC) hours, for the resources assigned to that WBS element.

For a resource row, this sub-row displays the sum of all planned hours, including past and ETC hours, for that resource's assignment for its parent WBS element.

This is the only editable sub-row in the calendar section of the labor planning grid. You cannot reorder the Planned Hours sub-row, it is always located on the first row. This sub-row is only available if your user role has access to the Resource Planning or Accounting modules. If you do not select this sub-row, the Plan form is set to read-only. If you deselect this sub-row, you receive a warning message.

Planned Billing

For a WBS row, this sub-row displays the sum of all amounts, at billing, for planned hours (past and ETC hours) for the resources assigned to that WBS element.

For a resource row, this sub-row displays the sum of all amounts, at billing, for planned hours (past and ETC hours) for that resource's assignment for the parent WBS element.

The data for this sub-row is hidden if you set the Budget Type option to Cost in Plan Settings. This sub-row is only available if your user role has access to Resource Planning or Accounting modules.

Planned Cost

For a WBS row, this sub-row displays the sum of all amounts, at cost, for planned hours (past and ETC hours) for the resources assigned to that WBS element.

This sub-row displays the sum of all posted and unposted hours from timesheets through the job-to-date (JTD) date for this WBS element or resource.

Actual Cost

This sub-row displays the sum of all posted and unposted labor charges, at cost, from timesheets through the JTD date for this WBS element or resource. Your security role's access to cost data determines your ability to view this sub-row.

Actual Billing This sub-row displays the sum of all posted and unposted labor charges, at cost, from timesheets through the JTD date for this WBS element or resource.

Baseline Hours This sub-row displays the sum of the planned labor hours that is saved in the baseline for the WBS element or resource. The baseline acts as a snapshot of the plan at a certain point in time.

Baseline Cost For a WBS row, this sub-row displays the sum of the planned labor amounts, at cost, that is saved in the baseline for that WBS element.

For a resource row, this sub-row displays the planned labor amount, at cost, that is saved in the baseline for that resource assignment.

Field Description
To change that order of the sub-rows, hover over a row and then click and drag to move the sub-row. The new order is reflected in the Labor Planning grid when you apply your changes.

Apply After you select the sub-rows that you want, click this button to apply your updates and close the dialog box. You must select at least one sub-row to use this button. If you do not select any sub-rows, this button is disabled and you receive a warning message.
