If your company uses multiple organization levels, you can use the Organization Sub-codes Key Conversion utility to change the code of an organization sub-code. If your company uses multiple companies, you cannot change the first level of the organization.
Warning: If your company uses an on-premises deployment of
Vantagepoint, Deltek strongly recommends that you create a backup copy of your database before running the utility. There is no way to undo this process without a backup database.
If your company has an on-premises deployment of
Vantagepoint, your company manages your database backup. If your company has a cloud-based deployment of
Vantagepoint, coordinate with Deltek about your database backup.
To change the organization sub-code number:

In the Navigation pane, select

On the Change Number tab of the Organization Sub-codes form, click
+ Add Organization Code below the grid.

In the
Level column of the new blank row, select the organization level.
The existing organizations available for selection update, based on the level that you specify.

In the
Existing Organization Code Number column, enter or select the existing organization code.

In the
New Organization Code Number column, enter the new organization code number.

To change other organization sub-codes, repeat steps 3 through 5.

Select one of the following actions:
- To make the change immediately, click
Run.
- To schedule the change process to run at a later time, click
Schedule and complete the fields on the Schedule dialog box. The change takes effect after the process is completed.
Other applications, and any transactions that reference the affected records, are updated automatically.
