Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Change Number Tab of the Projects Form (Key Conversions)

Use this tab to change the project number of existing project records.

Action Bar

Project records that are modified using this tab are automatically updated across all applicable applications in Vantagepoint.

Field Description
Run Click this option to change the project numbers for the project record entered in the grid.
Warning: If your company uses an on-premises deployment of Vantagepoint, Deltek strongly recommends that you create a backup copy of your database before running the utility. There is no way to undo this process without a backup database.

If your company has an on-premises deployment of Vantagepoint, your company manages your database backup. If your company has a cloud-based deployment of Vantagepoint, coordinate with Deltek about your database backup.

Schedule Click this option to display the Schedule dialog box, on which you can configure options to schedule the conversion process of the utility.

Change Number Grid Columns

Field Description
Existing Project Select a project record from the drop-down with the project number that needs to be modified.
Existing Project Name This field displays the project name of the selected project record in the Existing Project column.
New Project Enter the new project number to be applied for the selected project record in the Existing Project column.

Change Number Grid Options

Field Description
+ Add Project Click this option below the grid to add a blank row in the grid. Use the blank row to select or enter the project information in the respective columns. Add more blank rows to change the project number of more project records.
X Click this icon at the end of a row to delete the row.
