Contents of the Cost Summary Dialog Box

Use the grid on this dialog box to review cost summary information for the selected project. You can also use it to update the percent complete amounts for lowest level work breakdown structure (WBS) elements.

Depending on how Vantagepoint is set up and on whether or not the compensation amounts for the project are synchronized with contract amounts, you may also be able to enter or modify amounts in the compensation fields. Those fields contain the same values as the corresponding fields on the Contract Management form in the Projects hub. If you update those fields in one location, Vantagepoint updates them automatically in the other.

Fields that display blue hypertext links allow you to quickly drill down to the underlying detail for the selected value, eliminating the need to generate a separate report to view and analyze supporting data. These drill-down options are available at all levels of the project work breakdown structure.

Click to select the columns to include in the grid. For information about how to select columns, see Select Columns for a Grid.
