Combine Records Tab of the Withholding Codes Form (Key Conversions)

Use this tab to combine withholding codes.

All the data that are associated with the withholding codes that are combined using this tab are automatically updated across all applicable applications in Vantagepoint.

Field	Description
Run	Click Run to combine the withholding codes entered in the Combine Records grid. Combining withholding codes that are associated with different companies is not allowed. Warning: We strongly recommend that a backup copy of your database is created before running the utility because there is no way to undo the process without a backup database.
Schedule	Click Schedule to display the Schedule dialog box where you can configure options to schedule the conversion process of the utility.

Combining Records Grid Column

Field	Description
Existing Withholding Code	Select a withholding code in the drop-down to be combined into the selected withholding code in the New Withholding Code column. All the relevant data from the selected withholding code in this column is merged into the selected withholding code in the New Withholding Code column.
Existing Withholding Code Name	Displays the withholding code name of the selected withholding code in the Existing Withholding Code column.
New Withholding Code	Select the withholding code that becomes the new merged withholding code. Data from the selected withholding code in the Existing Withholding Code column is transferred to the selected withholding code in this column.
New Withholding Code Name	Displays the withholding code name of the selected withholding code in the New Withholding Code column.

Combining Records Grid Options

Field	Description
+ Add Withholding Code	Click + Add Withholding Code to add a new blank row in the grid. Add more rows to combine other withholding codes.
X	Click X at the end or a row to delete the row.
