Purge Configuration Audit Data

Run an audit purge when you want to delete configuration audit data for Roles, Users, Screen Designer Security, and Exchange Rates.

To remove data from configuration audit logs:

  1. On the Navigation menu in the desktop application, click Utilities > Updates > Audit Purge.
  2. Complete or modify the fields on the Configuration Audit Purge form.
  3. Click Schedule.
    Vantagepoint calculates the total number of records within the selected application(s) and date range(s) that will be deleted and displays the following message:

    XXX records have been selected for deletion. Do you want to delete these records?

  4. Click Yes.
  5. Complete the fields on the Schedule dialog box to schedule the audit purge and click OK.
  6. Click Run to run the purge.
