Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Assign New Project Number Dialog Box

If you use the Pre-Award Project Numbering feature, use this dialog box to change a project's currently assigned number (pre-award number) to a different number when you are awarded the project.

From this dialog box, you can choose whether to change the project number immediately or schedule the number change to occur at a future time.

Warning: If other users are working with a project record in the Projects hub or in other applications in the Projects hub (such as Contract Management) when a project's number is being changed, those users will not be able to save any changes they made to the project. They must reload the project and re-enter any lost changes. For this reason, it is best to change a project's number when other users are not in the project record. See Who Is Editing or Viewing a Record.

After you assign a new number to an awarded project and you save the change:

  • The new number displays in the Project Number field at the top of the Projects form and in the Summary pane on the Projects form.
  • The previously assigned (pre-award) number displays in the Pre-award Number field in the Pursuit Details section in the Summary pane on the Projects form.
