Contents of the Save Options Dialog Box

Use the Save Options dialog box to save a search for yourself or for yourself and others.

Field Description
Save Options Select one of the following options to specify how you want to save the search:
  • Save: Saves the properties for the current search.
  • Save as New Search: Saves the properties from the current search as a new search.
Name Enter a name for the search.
Save For

This field is only available if your role has the required security rights. Depending on your security rights, you can save for others assigned to the same role, for other specific roles, of for all security roles (everyone). If you do not have the security rights to save for others, you can only save personal searches for yourself.

Use the drop-down list to select one or more of the following:
  • Myself: You can use the search. This option is automatically selected for all saved searches.
  • Special Selections: Users with the specific security roles that you select can use the search, such as My Role or Everyone.
