  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Filter Projects Dialog Box

Use this dialog box to filter the projects that display in Resource View.

Resource managers and project managers need to be able to search in Resource View based on both employee and project criteria, and to filter the grid to reduce the number of rows.

For example, a resource manager would first find all resources working on projects in a specific organization via the Find Resources pane. This search would return those resources in that organization and display every project the respective employees worked on. The resource manager could then use the Filter Projects dialog box to apply an additional filter to only view active projects, allowing them to focus on the resource's current capacity and, if necessary, reschedule or reassign assignments.
