  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

QuickBooks Integration Utility

This utility applies for existing Vantagepoint customers who have already set up the integration between Vantagepoint and QuickBooks Online using the utility.

The QuickBooks Integration utility will be completely replaced by Deltek Unionpoint in a future release. Until then, existing QuickBooks Integration users can continue to use the utility to manage the integration. The integration remains unchanged and is not affected by Unionpoint. Deltek will contact Vantagepoint customers who currently use the QuickBooks Integration utility about transitioning to the Unionpoint integration.

The integration works only with QuickBooks Online and not with other QuickBooks products.

The integration works for Vantagepoint US, Canadian, and UK customers. However, the reverse charge tax feature is not supported for UK customers.

Use the utility to:

  • Enable the QuickBooks integration and connect QuickBooks Online to Vantagepoint.
  • Run the initialization process to copy records from QuickBooks Online to Vantagepoint for the first time.
  • Review and map the general ledger accounts and tax codes (if you use tax codes) that are shared between QuickBooks Online and Vantagepoint.
  • Link an employee record with a corresponding vendor record so you can pay an employee for expenses entered in an expense report.
  • Specify the time interval at which the data that is shared between the two products is updated (synchronized) in each product.
  • Select advanced options for the integration such as automatic record numbering and default settings.
  • Synchronize data at any time (between scheduled updates).
  • Review the error log.
