Vision Screen Designer and the iAccess Project Management Workspace

The Vision Screen Designer enables system administrators to tailor screens and tabs to meet the requirements of their firm and individual users. When the Screen Designer is used to update elements in the Project Info Center in Vision, in some cases those updates are also automatically applied to fields and labels in the Project Management workspace in iAccess.

The only types of Screen Designer changes that are also applied in the Project Management workspace are the following:

• Label changes
• Hiding fields based on security role

While most fields used in the Project Management workspace honor both of these settings, some only honor the hidden setting and some do not honor either type of change.

Note that while user-defined fields are not displayed on the Project Management tabs and forms, they can be selected as search fields for custom project searches. User-defined fields that are used for those searches honor Screen Designer label changes and hidden settings.
