Replace Resources Dialog Box
Use the Replace Resources dialog box to replace a named resource or generic resource that is assigned on the Resource Assignments grid.
The resources that display on this dialog box are based on the
Apply Employee Record Access option on the Planning tab of the Roles form in
Vision ( ). If you don't have the
Vision Resource Planning module, the option is on the
iAccess tab instead.
Note: If the plan has a baseline, you can move some or all of the planned and/or ETC hours and/or amounts to the new resource. However, the baseline remains on the original resource and you will be prompted to select a date for the selected period and forward's historic planned and ETC hours to be moved. When you click
Replace, the planned and/or ETC hours will be moved from the old to new resource row while maintaining the original spread for those periods. If there is JTD and/or baseline but no planned or ETC hours, you cannot replace the resource, so this dialog box will not display for that resource.
