Open a Timesheet

You can use iAccess to open and update your Vision timesheets.

Prerequisites: Your access to the Timesheets area requires the following:
  • Your security role must have access to the Employee workspace and the Timesheets area as defined on the iAccess tab of the Roles form in Vision (Configuration > Security > Roles).
  • You must be linked to an active Vision employee record.

Note also that if you are an active employee in more than one company in Vision, you can only view and edit your time for your home company in iAccess. If you need to access a timesheet for a different company, you must do that in Vision.

Your timesheet processing capabilities also depend on how your system administrator defines other settings in Vision. Contact your system administrator if you have questions.

To open a timesheet, complete the following steps:

  1. In the Employee workspace, click to go to the Timesheets area.
  2. If the correct timesheet is not displayed by default, click and select any date in the timesheet's timesheet period. (You can also use and on either side of the current timesheet period to select an earlier or later timesheet period.)
    Note: If you select a timesheet and appears to the right of the timesheet period, you can display and print that timesheet but you cannot make additions or changes to the timesheet. Timesheets are locked to prevent changes under the following circumstances:
    • The timesheet has been submitted, and you are not allowed to resubmit timesheets.
    • The timesheet has been posted.
    • The timesheet period is closed.
