Enter a Consultant in a Plan Resource Row

When you enter a consultant for a plan resource row, you can select it in the Consultant Name Lookup dialog box.

This list is derived from the list of active vendors with their Type defined as Consultant in Vision.

To select a consultant for a plan resource row, complete the following steps:

1. In the CONSULTANT NAME column, do either of the following:
   • Enter one or more characters from the consultant name or number to display a drop-down list of consultants that contain those characters. Select the consultant you want from that list. If only one consultant matches your search text, it is entered automatically without displaying a list.
   • Click to display a list of all available consultants in the Consultant Name Lookup dialog box, and continue with step 2.
2. If the consultant you want is not visible in the lookup dialog box, do one or more of the following to locate it:
   • Scroll the list until the consultant is visible.
   • In the search field above the grid, enter one or more characters from the consultant name or number to display only consultants that contain those characters.
   • Click the column label for the CONSULTANT NAME column in the lookup dialog box to sort the list in the reverse order. (A sort icon ( or ) displays next to the current sort column.) You can also click the column label for a different column to sort based on that column.
3. When you locate the consultant that you want, click it to select it.
4. Click Select to enter the consultant in the resource row.
