Timesheet Settings Dialog Box

Use the Timesheet Settings dialog box to indicate if you want to automatically generate either a Detailed Timesheet or Summarized Timesheet report each time you submit a timesheet for processing.

Note: The options you select on this dialog box are automatically selected also for your timesheets in Vision.

Location

To open the Time Sheet Settings dialog box, complete the following steps:

  1. In the Employee workspace, click to go to the Timesheets area.
  2. Click on the Timesheets toolbar.

Field Description
Detailed Timesheet Select this option to view or print a Detailed Timesheet report automatically when you submit a timesheet. The report includes all information entered on the timesheet.
Summarized Timesheet Select this option to view or print a Summarized Timesheet report automatically when you submit a timesheet. This report is a more compact version of the Detailed Timesheet report. It does not display names of work breakdown structure elements or timesheet comments.
Do Not Print Report Select this option if you do not want to view or print either a Detailed Timesheet or Summarized Timesheet report when you submit a timesheet for processing.
Page Break by Project Select this option if you want timesheet data for each project to begin at the top of a new page.
Include Revision Audit Report Select Include Revision Audit Report to include revision audit information on the report.

The Include Revision Audit Report check box only displays if timesheet revision auditing is enabled for the employee's timesheets.

Save Click this button to save the settings and close the dialog box.
Cancel Click this button to close the dialog box without saving any unsaved settings.
