Associate a Project with a Kona Space

For an project not currently associated with a Kona space, you can use options on the Collaboration tab of the Project Management workspace to associate it with an existing Kona space or create a new space for it. For a project that is currently associated with a space, you can associate it with a different space.

Prerequisites: This option is only available if your firm has implemented integration with Kona Business and you are a member of that Kona Business account. If you are going to select a Kona space that already exists, you must be a member of that space.

To associate a project with a Kona space, complete the following steps:

1. In the Project Management workspace, click the Collaboration tab.
2. In the Project Management workspace, use the search field immediately above the project name to select the project.
3. Click the Collaboration tab.
4. Do one of the following:
   • If the project is not currently associated with a Kona space, click Associate Kona Space in the upper-right corner of the tab.
   • If the project is currently associated with a Kona space and you want to associate it with a different space, click Change Kona Space in the upper-right corner of the tab.
5. In the drop-down list, do one of the following:
   • If the space already exists in Kona, select it in the list.
   • If the space does not already exist, select + New Kona Space to create a space with the same name as the project.

   Result: iAccess does the following:

   • Creates a new space for the project in Kona with the same name as the project, if you selected that option
   • Associates the space with the project and displays it on the Collaboration tab
