Click
to download to your Downloads folder all opportunities in a .CSV file named MyOpps.csv. You can then open and work with that file in Microsoft® Excel®. (This icon is located next to the Opportunities area title in the upper-left corner.)
Exception: If your browser is Safari, the file is not automatically saved in your downloads folder. It displays on a separate browser tab, and you can then save it using the file name and folder of your choice.
This process downloads all opportunities in the database, subject to any access restrictions defined for your security role. The data includes all standard and custom fields, but it does not include any data from the grids on the Opportunities area tabs. After you download the opportunities, you can use Excel or another spreadsheet application that supports .CSV files to filter and format the data for reports.

Find opportunity
|
Use the
Find opportunity field immediately above the opportunity name to search for and select the opportunity that you want to review or edit.
On the drop-down list at the left end of the search field, select a standard or custom search:
- Click
ACTIVE to select from a list of active opportunities only.
- Click
ALL to select from a list of all opportunities (both active and inactive). The closed opportunities in the list are dimmed slightly so you can distinguish them from the active opportunities.
- Click
MINE to select from a list of opportunities for which you are a member of the team. (You are on an opportunity's team if you are listed in the Team Members grid on the Team tab.)
- Click a previously saved custom search to display the opportunities returned by that search. (To see the search criteria for the currently selected custom search in a tooltip, hover over the search name if the search is saved, or over
Custom if it is not saved. Tablet users can display the search in the Custom Opportunity Search dialog box to see the search criteria.)
- Click
Custom at the bottom of the list to create and save or apply a new custom search.
To further restrict the list of opportunities, do either of the following in the search field:
- To display a list of opportunities with names or IDs that begin with a specific single character, type the character in the field and pause.
- To display a list of opportunities with names or IDs that contain a specific sequence of two or more characters, type the characters in the field and pause.
If you enter characters in the search field and then want to remove them, you can click the
icon at the end of the field to clear the field.
The number of opportunities in the current search results displays at the right end of the search field.

+ Add Opportunity

Click
+ Add Opportunity to add a new opportunity.
This link is only available if you have the access rights that are required to add records.
|
Name
|
The name of the opportunity displays above the tabs.
If the name is too long to display completely, hover over it to display a tooltip containing the full name.
To edit the name, hover over the name, click
, and enter the name in the field that displays.

Last modified
|
These fields, located just below the opportunity name, display the date the opportunity information was last changed and the name of the person or process that made the changes.
|
Estimated revenue
|
This unlabeled field, located below the image in the upper-left corner of the area, displays the total estimated revenue, in US dollars, that you expect to earn if the opportunity results in an awarded contract.
To edit the amount, hover over the field, click
, and enter the amount in the field that displays. You can also edit the amount on the Edit Opportunity form.

Probability
|
This unlabeled field displays the probability of winning the contract, expressed as a percentage.
To change the percentage, click it and select the new value.
|
Weighted revenue
|
This unlabeled field displays the estimated revenue weighted based on the probability: Estimated revenue x Probability.
To change this value, change the estimated revenue amount, the probability percentage, or both.

Currency
|
If your firm uses the Multicurrency feature in
Vision, this field displays the currency code and description associated with the opportunity.
If your firm does not use the Multicurrency feature, this field is not available.
To change the currency, click it and select the new value. Note that changing the currency does not change any amounts in currency fields. It is assumed that those amounts were entered in the correct currency. It may, however, change the currency symbol and how amounts are formatted.

ID
|
If the opportunity has been assigned an opportunity ID, this field displays that ID.
If the opportunity has no ID, this field does not display.
|
IQ Record
|
If the opportunity was imported from GovWin IQ, this field displays its GovWin IQ ID.
Click the ID to display a tooltip containing the opportunity solicitation date and number and opportunity status in GovWin IQ. Click
More in the tooltip to open a new browser tab and display the complete opportunity information in GovWin IQ. (The
iAccess opportunity information remains available on the original browser tab.) If you are not already logged in to GovWin IQ, the GovWin log-in page displays first.

Record Status
|
This field displays the opportunity status:
Active or
Inactive.
To change the status, click it and select the new value.
|
Stage
|
This field displays the pipeline stage to which the opportunity is currently assigned (for example, Lead, Proposal, Awarded, Lost, and so on).
To change the stage, click it and select the new value. If you select a stage that is designated as a stage for closed opportunities, the Close Opportunity dialog box displays so you can enter other information related to closing the opportunity.

Type
|
This field displays the type of opportunity (for example, Laboratories, Medical Facilities, Office Buildings, and so on).
To change the type, click it and select the new value.
|
Responsibility
|
This field displays your firm's responsibility or role for the opportunity (for example, Prime, Subcontractor, or Unknown).
To change the responsibility, click it and select the new value.

Source
|
This field displays the source of the opportunity (for example, Client Contacts, Marketing Campaign, GovWin IQ).
To change the source, click it and select the new value.
|
Opened
|
This field displays the date on which you identified the opportunity and began pursuing the job.
To change the date, click
on the Opportunities toolbar.
|
Days Open
|
If the opportunity is not closed, this field displays the number of days it has been open: Current date - Open date. This field is not displayed for closed opportunities.

Closed
|
If the opportunity is closed, this field displays the date it was closed. This field is not displayed for open opportunities.
To display notes related to the closure in a tooltip, hover over the date or the reason.

Reason
|
If the opportunity is closed, this field displays the reason it was closed. This field is not displayed for open opportunities.
To display notes related to the closure in a tooltip, hover over the date or the reason.

Primary Client
|
This field displays the name of the primary client for the opportunity.
Click the name to display a tooltip containing client information: market,
company status, primary address, and phone number. Click
More in the tooltip to display the full
company record on a separate browser tab. (The opportunity information remains available on the original browser tab.)
To change the client, hover over the field and click
next to the field.

Primary contact
|
This unlabeled field displays the name of the primary client contact for the opportunity.
Click the name to display a tooltip containing contact information: job title, mailing address, and email address. Click
More in the tooltip to display the full contact record on a separate browser tab. (The opportunity information remains available on the original browser tab.)
To change the primary contact, click
on the Opportunities toolbar.

Work phone number
|
This field displays the primary contact's work phone number.
|
Mobile phone number
|
This field displays the primary contact's cell phone number.
|
Email
|
This field displays the primary contact's email address.
To open your email application and compose an email to the contact, click the email address.
