Integration of Project Management with Kona Business
Kona from Deltek can be integrated with the Project Management workspace to support collaboration among those working on a project. Kona is a private and secure collection of work spaces that those associated with a project can use to communicate, share documents, assign and manage tasks, and schedule events.
You can access Kona from the Collaboration tab in the Project Management workspace if your firm has a Kona Business license and implements the integration with Kona Business, and you are associated with that Kona Business account.
You can also use integration with Kona Business in the Business Development workspace to support collaboration among those associated with an opportunity.
When you use iAccess and Kona together, you can share credentials and information between them, including your login credentials so that you only have to log in one time for both applications. After your system administrator configures iAccess to integrate with Kona, you can enter your Kona login credentials on the iAccess My Settings dialog box. Contact your system administrator for details.

Create a Kona Space for a Project
When you display information for a project in iAccess and that project is not already associated with a Kona space, you can use the Associate Kona Space option on the Collaboration tab to either associate the project with an existing Kona space of which you are a member or create a new Kona space for the project. If you create a new Kona space, iAccess does the following:
- Creates a space for the project in Kona with the same name as the project
- Associates the space with the project so it automatically displays on the Collaboration tab in the Project Management workspace when you select that project in iAccess.
