Attach a File to a Kona Conversation Task or Event for a Project

Use the Collaboration tab in the Project Management workspace to attach a file to a conversation, task, or event in Kona for the selected project.

Prerequisites: The project must be associated with a space in Kona Business, and you must be a member of that space. In addition, the actions you can perform may be restricted by the access rights specified for you in Kona.

To attach a file to a Kona conversation, task, or event, complete the following steps:
  1. In the Project Management workspace, use the search field immediately above the project name to select the project.
  2. Click the Collaboration tab.
  3. In the lower-left corner of the tab, do one of the following:
    Click... To display a list of...
    Conversations for the current space.
    Tasks for the current space.
    Events for the current space.
  4. Click the title of the conversation, task, or event to which you want to attach a file.
  5. Do one of the following:
    • If you are attaching a file to a conversation, skip to step 6.
    • If you are attaching a file to a task or event, click and then click to display the conversation associated with the task or event.
  6. Click in the blank comment field at the end of the conversation.
  7. Click on the toolbar in the comment field.
  8. Locate and select the file you want to attach.
  9. Enter any comments you want to include along with the file.
  10. Click Send.
