Consultants Plan Summary Chart

Use the Consultants Plan Summary chart on the Consultants page of the Planning tab to view the consultants contract, planned, and job-to-date (JTD) amounts for the WBS element that is selected on the Consultants Planning grid. This summary provides a brief overview of the contract amounts, and the billing and/or cost amounts for direct and reimbursable consultants.

As you select different WBS elements on the Consultants Planning grid, amounts on the chart update to reflect the data shown on the grid. The chart also updates to reflect your changes to the plan when you save those changes.

You can hover over or tap a bar on the chart to see the respective amount.

The amounts on this chart display at billing or cost, depending on your selection in Show. Whether both options are available depends on the budget type selected for the plan. If both Billing and Cost options are available, you can switch between them, and the chart's information will update accordingly.

If your firm uses the Multicurrency feature in Vision, the currency in use is indicated in Show next to the Billing and Cost options. The project currency is always used when viewing projects and plans at cost. The currency used when viewing projects and plans at billing is determined by a Vision configuration setting that your system administrator selects. Note: For projects with multiple Vision plans, the bars display the amounts from the plans that are included in utilization.

Field	Description
Contract	Direct: This bar represents the direct consultant contract amount. Reimbursable: This bar represents the reimbursable consultant contract amount. Note: If your firm uses Vision Multicurrency, the contract may not change when you switch from viewing billing to cost.
Planned	Direct: This bar displays the planned billing or cost amount for direct consultant accounts. Reimbursable: This bar displays the planned billing or cost amount for reimbursable consultant accounts.
JTD	JTD sums include posted transactions and committed purchase orders dated through today. Direct: This bar represents the sum of billing or cost charges to direct consultant accounts. Reimbursable: This bar represents the sum of billing or cost charges to reimbursable consultant accounts.
Tooltips	Tooltips display when you hover over or tap various parts of the iAccess interface, including buttons, status and warning indicators, and data on the dashparts and charts. You can also click to view specific calculation information, and click the More links to access the related online help. If you are using a tablet device, the tooltip hover action is not available, but you can tap and the More links to view the calculations and online help.
