Contract Calculations Chart

The Contract Calculations chart displays the contract amounts, and their associated calculations, for the selected WBS element. These amounts are pulled directly from the columns on the Contract planning grid to give you a quick summary of the contract.

As you select different WBS rows on the Contract grid, amounts on the Contract Calculations chart update to reflect the data from the grid.

The amounts on this chart display at billing or cost, depending on your selection in Show. Whether both options are available depends on the budget type selected for the plan. If both Billing and Cost options are available, you can switch between them, and the contract's amounts, chart information, and grid details will update to reflect your selection. If you are using the Multicurrency feature, the contract amounts display in the plan's billing currency or the project (cost) currency. If you are not using the Multicurrency feature, the contract amounts do not change when you switch between billing and cost.

If your firm uses the Multicurrency feature in Vision, the currency in use is indicated in Show next to the Billing and Cost options. The project currency is always used when viewing projects and plans at cost. The currency used when viewing projects and plans at billing is determined by a Vision configuration setting that your system administrator selects. Note: When you select the Cost option, some information may not display because of your security access. Settings on the Accounting tab on the Roles form in Vision (Configuration > Security > Roles ) determine your access rights to labor cost rates and amounts in iAccess. Field Description
Labor This line displays the contract amount in the LABOR column on the Contract grid.
Expenses This line displays the expenses contract amount, which is the sum of the expenses columns on the Contract grid.
Total Net Contract This line displays the sum of all labor and expenses contract amounts.
Consultants This line displays the consultants contract amount, which is the sum of the consultant columns on the Contract grid.
Total Gross Contract This line displays the sum of the Total Net Contract amount and Consultants amount.
