Why Change an iAccess Plan to a Vision Plan?

You can create plans in Vision or in iAccess. You may want to change an iAccess plan to a Vision plan if your plan is complex.

If you create a plan in iAccess, you can only view the plan's information in Vision. However, you can change the application in which you maintain a project's plan. Vision Resource Planning supports more complex, sophisticated project plans than iAccess does.

In Vision Resource Planning, project managers can access additional functionality for creating and maintaining detailed plan information. The following are some of those additional features:

• A work breakdown structure that does not match the project's work breakdown structure
• More than three levels of a work breakdown structure
• Multiple accordion calendar scales
• Resource assignments at work breakdown structure levels other than the lowest level
