Imported GovWin IQ Opportunity Data

Integration with GovWin IQ enables you to add new opportunities in Business Development by importing opportunities, with their associated data, from GovWin IQ.

GovWin IQ Opportunity Fields Imported

This table lists the GovWin IQ fields that are included when you import an opportunity from GovWin IQ. You can also configure Business Development to update this data automatically for imported opportunities if any of the information changes in GovWin IQ.

Buying Organization Primary Client Overview tab

The import process checks the companies in iAccess to see if the client has been imported previously. If not, it checks for a company with an exact match of the client name or alias. If it does not find a matching company, you are given the option to create a new company for the client.

Duration Duration Overview tab
Type of Award Award Type Overview tab If the value in this field does not match one of the standard values for the Award Type drop-down list in iAccess, the import process adds it as a standard value.
Contract Type Contract Type Overview tab If the opportunity has multiple contract types in GovWin IQ, the first one becomes the contract type in iAccess. If that contract type does not match one of the standard values for the Contract Type drop-down list in iAccess, the import process adds it as a standard value.
Competition Type Competition Type Overview tab If the opportunity has multiple competition types in GovWin IQ, the first one becomes the competition type in iAccess. If that competition type does not match one of the standard values for the Competition Type drop-down list in iAccess, the import process adds it as a standard value.

NAICS NAICS Overview tab If the value in this field does not match one of the standard values for the NAICS drop-down list in iAccess, the import process adds it as a standard value.
Opened Overview tab This field defaults to the date that the opportunity is imported.
Source Overview tab This defaults to GovWin IQ.
Name Name Competition tab

The import process checks the companies in iAccess to see if the competitor has been imported previously. If not, it checks for a company with an exact match of the competitor name or alias. If it does not find a matching company, you are given the option to create a new company for the competitor.

Incumbent Incumbent Competition tab
Milestone Name Activities tab: Key Milestones grid All milestones are imported. Milestones that do not match one of the standard milestone name values in iAccess are assigned to the opportunity but are not added to the list of standard milestone names.

Company and Contact Data Imported

When associated companies and contacts are imported along with an opportunity, the following data are brought in to iAccess:

For companies:

  • Name
For contacts:
  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Email
  • Company
  • Contact type (Contact type is appended to the contact's role description for the opportunity.)
