Copy Rows from One Timesheet into Another

You can copy all rows from an existing timesheet into another timesheet.

iAccess copies all project, phase, task, labor code, labor category, payroll tax locale combinations from the selected timesheet to the currently displayed timesheet. iAccess does not copy hours or comments. If one of the combinations already exists in the displayed timesheet, that combination is not copied; the copy process does not create duplicate rows.

Prerequisites: Your timesheet processing capabilities depend on how your system administrator defines settings in Vision. Contact your system administrator if you have questions.

To copy timesheet rows from one timesheet into another, complete the following steps:

  1. Click to go to the Timesheets area.
  2. Display the timesheet into which you want to copy rows from another timesheet.
  3. Click on the Timesheets toolbar.
  4. On the Copy Another Timesheet into This Timesheet dialog box, select the timesheet from which you want to copy rows into the currently displayed timesheet.
  5. Click Copy.

    The copied rows are added to the displayed timesheet, and you can now enter hours for them.

    Note: If the LABOR CODE column is not available or you do not have the necessary access to change the labor code, the labor code for copied rows is set to the default. If the LABOR CATEGORY column is not available, the labor category for copied rows is set to the default.
