Plan Settings Dialog Box

Use the Plan Settings dialog box to configure an iAccess plan for the selected project. This dialog box automatically displays when you create a new iAccess plan or you convert a Vision plan to an iAccess plan.

The plan settings are specific for each area of Project Management that you can access. For example, if you can access the Labor and Expenses areas, you can define the plan settings for both.

Plan settings only apply to iAccess plans and are not available when you view a Vision plan within iAccess. When you create a new plan in iAccess, the settings default from plan settings in Vision (Configuration > Planning). If you use the Multicompany feature in Vision, the settings default from plan settings for the project's company.

The Plan Settings dialog box is available when all of the following are true:
  • The current project has an iAccess plan.
  • Your security role has Full, Add/Modify, or Modify Only access rights for the plan on the iAccess tab of the Roles form in Vision (Configuration > Security > Roles). The fields that display on this dialog box and your ability to modify them are based on these access rights.
  • You have record-level update rights to the plan.

Note: The settings you select for the project on the Plan Settings dialog box in iAccess override any settings that were established in Vision.
