When you delete a plan record, all corresponding custom tabs, fields, and grids are also deleted from the Vision database. Your system administrator can create workflow alerts to trigger in specific situations. For example, when you delete a plan, an alert could notify your manager of the deletion.
To delete a plan record, complete the following steps:

From the Vision Navigation menu, click

On the Project Planning form, you can select a single plan or multiple plans for deletion:

Click
Search to display the Plan lookup dialog box and select the plan that you want to delete. When you open the plan, Vision performs an internal check out of the plan so that it is checked out to you. Click
on the toolbar. Vision prompts you to confirm the deletion.

If your security role permits, click
. On the Delete Selected Plans dialog box, click
Search to display the Plan lookup dialog box, select the plans that you want to delete, and click
OK. Use this feature only when absolutely necessary because it will delete all selected plans, even if they are currently in use and checked out to other users.
