Pre-Invoices Setup and Configuration
Before you can create and process pre-invoices and their associated cash receipts, you must complete some setup and configuration.

Turn on the Pre-Invoices feature for a company and then enter a pre-invoice receipt offset account (typically a liability account) to use for cash receipts for pre-invoices. | Configuration > Billing > General > Miscellaneous tab |
Create invoice templates for pre-invoices and pre-invoice cancellations. This includes selecting labels and options for the Pre-Invoice section of the invoice templates. | Billing > Invoice Template Editor > All tabs |
