Copy a Consolidated GL Budget

You can create a new budget by copying an existing budget and modifying the information to meet your needs.

Prerequisite: Open a Consolidated General Ledger budget.

To create a new consolidated GL budget by copying an existing budget, complete the following steps:

  1. From the Vision Navigation menu, click Accounting > Budgeting > Consolidated G/L.
  2. On the Consolidated G/L Budgeting form, select one of the following actions:
    Option Description
    To copy the current budget Open a budget, click New and select Copy Current Budget.
    To select the budget that you want to copy Click the Select Budget to Copy option, then search for and select the budget you want to copy.
  3. In the Budget Name field, enter the new budget name.
  4. Click Save.
