Use the Consultants tab to assign consultants to the plan. Typically, consultants are assigned at the lowest level of the plan's work breakdown structure. If you want actual consultant expense amounts passed to the plan from Accounting, you must map the consultants in your plan to consultant expense accounts in the Info Center.
To assign and budget consultant expenses, complete the following steps:

From the Vision Navigation menu, click

Open a plan record.

Click the Consultants tab.

On the Consultants Planning grid, click on the item for which you are budgeting expenses.

Click
Insert.
Vision inserts a new grid row.

Click
Search.

On the Account lookup, select the consultant expense account.
You must select a reimbursable account to enter Planned Bill amounts for the line item.

In the
Vendor field on the Consultant Planning grid, select a vendor.

In the
Planned Cost and/or
Planned Bill fields on the Accordion Calendar grid, enter the estimated consultant expense amount for the element.
The planned costs for WBS elements with "children" are read-only because those values are summarized from the lower-level elements.

Repeat steps as necessary to budget all consultants for the plan.
You can also copy and paste existing rows.
