Import Charges History Dialog Box

Use this dialog box to view a list of all the import sessions (batches) that you have imported into Vision for a credit card statement.

On this dialog box, you can also undo batches of charges that you previously imported and remove the credit card records from Vision.

Location

To display the dialog box, complete the following steps:

  1. On the Vision Navigation menu, click Accounting > Credit Cards > Credit Card Reconciliation.
  2. On the toolbar for the Credit Card Statement Reconciliation form, click Import > Import Charges History.

Credit Card Grid

Each row in the grid represent a batch of all the charges that you imported in one import session.

Credit Card Grid — Toolbar

Field Description
Credit Card Drop-Down Click the drop-down arrow on a grid header to complete any of the following actions:
  • To print grid data, click Print. When the Print Preview form displays, click File > Print to send the grid data to your default printer.
  • To export grid data to an Excel spreadsheet, click Export to Excel. When Microsoft Excel opens, use its features to modify, print, or email the data, or to save the spreadsheet file locally.
  • To turn on grouping for a grid, click Enable Grouping. When a field displays with the instruction: "Drag a column header here to group by that column," drag and drop column headers into this field, in the sequence that you want them to display.

Not all options are available on all grids.

Undo Import After you select one or more import batches in the grid to undo, click this button to undo the batch. This removes the imported charges in the batches from Vision. Another dialog box displays and asks Are you sure you want to undo the selected imports? You can click Yes or No.

Credit Card Grid — Fields

Field Description
User This displays the name of the Vision user who imported the credit card charge batch.
Action This displays Import.
Date This displays the date and time when the credit card charges batch was imported into Vision.
