Add Profile Codes (Block 10)

Use the Add Profile Codes option to enter profile codes in Block 10 of the SF254 form.

As part of this process, you specify a base date that Vision uses to identify the project records for each profile code that you choose. Vision selects the projects whose actual completion or estimated completion date (entered on the Dates & Costs tab of the Project Info Center) is equal to or after the base date.

For example, if you submit an SF254 proposal on February 1, 2013, to show your project experience for the last five years, you specify a base date of February 1, 2008.

To select profile codes, complete the following steps:

1. From the Vision Navigation menu, click Proposals > SF254 Proposals.
2. Click the Page 2 tab.
3. Beside 10. Profile of Firm's project Experience, Last 5 years, click and then click Add Profile Codes. If this is a new SF254 proposal, Vision displays the message:

   Select the base date to be used in calculating the number of projects and fees for the profile codes selected.

4. Click OK.
5. On the pop-up calendar, select the base date.
6. Click beside 10. Profile of Firm's project Experience, Last 5 years again and select Add Profile Codes.
7. On the Profile Codes lookup, use the Select or Select All buttons to select the profile codes you want.
8. Click Close.
