Project Progress Dashpart

The amounts on this dashpart display at billing or cost, depending on the option you select in the upper-right corner of the dashboard. Whether both options are available depends on the budget type selected for the project plan. If both Billing and Cost options are available, you can switch between them, and the chart's information will update accordingly.
If your firm uses multiple currencies, the currency in use is indicated next to the Billing or Cost option. The project cost currency is always used when viewing projects and plans at cost. A configuration setting that your system administrator selects determines whether project cost currency or billing currency is used when you view projects and plans at billing.
When you select the Cost option, some information may not display if your security role does not provide access rights to labor cost rates and amounts.

Project Progress Bars |
The JTD and estimate-to-complete (ETC) bars display what percent of the total planned amounts for labor, expenses, consultants, and units is complete through today, and what percent remains. Units display if the Resource Planning module is activated and if the project is in a company that has Unit Planning enabled. Calculation of JTD %: (JTD/(ETC + JTD)) x 100 Calculation of ETC %: (ETC/(ETC + JTD)) x 100 The JTD amounts are the sum of all labor charges on posted and unposted transactions, expense charges, consultant charges, committed purchase orders, and unit charges, through the JTD date. The ETC amount is the sum of ETC amounts for planned labor, expenses, consultants, and units from the day after the JTD date through the end of the plan. You can view a summary of the percentages for each part of the project. You can also hover over each progress bar to view a summary of the amounts that are used to calculate the percentages. If there is JTD but no planned amount, the bar displays Nothing planned. |
