Dependency Details Dialog Box

Use the Dependency Details dialog box to view or update plan notes and to add, update, or remove dependencies between work breakdown structure (WBS) elements.

This dialog box includes predecessors and successors, the relationship type for each dependency, and any lag or lead time. These dependencies are reflected in the interactive Gantt chart that displays a timeline for each WBS element of your project. This provides a quick way to see, and work with, the project schedule, tasks, relationships between the elements, and the critical path.
