Link one text element to another to continue text from one element to the next. You can link as many text elements together as you want and linked text elements can appear on the same page or different pages. Linked text elements share the following text properties: width, padding, and border.
To link a text element to another text element:

To link an existing text element to a new text element, skip to step 3.

To link a new text element to another new text element, in theGeneral Elements section in the left-hand pane drag the
Text element onto the proposal page and drop it in the appropriate location.

Click the first text element to select it.
When the text element is selected, an
appears in the top left of the element and the bottom right of the element.

To link a text element to a predecessor text element, click the
in the top left corner and then click the text element that you want to link to.

To link a text element to a succeeding text element, click the
in the bottom right corner and click the text element that you want to link to.

To link a text element to a new text element, click
and click an empty space on the proposal.
When a text element is linked to a text element, the
changes to solid

If you select an existing element and both elements have text, the text from the first element will overwrite the text in the second selected element.

To delete a link between text elements, hover over the
and click
.
Deleting a link between two text elements does not affect other linked text elements in the same chain. If you delete a link between two text elements or delete a text element in the middle of a chain of linked text elements, the text goes to the predecessor text element and will have an overflow indicator if necessary. All succeeding text elements will be empty.
