Contents of the Data Mapping Values Dialog Box
Use these fields and options to specify a value to replace a column's value when it is exported to a file using a data export definition.
Example: For a column that contains a general ledger account, if the column contains the value 101.00, you can have that value replaced with 1001.00 when you export it.

Field | Description |

Column Name | The name of the column that you selected displays at the top of the dialog box. |
Key/Value Grid
Field | Description |
---|---|
Key | Enter the column's value that you want to be replaced when the value is exported to a file. Then enter the value to replace it with in the Value field. For example, if you enter A in the Key field and B in the Value field, every time this column exported to a file, if the value in the column is A, it will be added to the data file as B, instead of A. |
Value | Enter the value that will replace the actual value (which you specified in the Key field) for the column when the column's value is exported to a file. |
+ New Value | Click this option to add a new row to the grid. In the row, add a column value and the value to replace it when it is exported to a file. |
Click this icon at the end of a row to delete the key and value. |
Options
Field | Description |

Clear Settings | Click this option to delete all the rows in the Key/Value grid. |
Apply | Click this button to save your changes on this dialog box and return to the Definition Setup form. |
Cancel | Click this button to return to the Definition Setup form without saving the changes on this dialog box. |
