Before you use General Ledger Budgeting to monitor your general ledger budgets, you must perform certain setup steps to make the data available for reporting. - General Ledger Budgeting and the Profit Planning Monitor
Use the Profit Planning Monitor to check performance against budgets. For each revenue and expense account, the report displays the budgeted and actual amounts for the current period and year to date. - Accounts that You Can Budget
You can enter budget information for any Income Statement accounts. If you enter any non-Income Statement accounts, they do not display on the Profit Planning Monitor report.
