Show Record Header on Proposal

When a hub record spans multiple pages on a proposal, you can use the Show Record Header on Proposal option to display a record header to the top of each page. This is useful for proposals that include resumes or project experience where the record will not fit on one page.

Prerequisite: In the Navigation pane, select Proposals > Custom Proposals and then create a new proposal or open an existing proposal.

To show a record header on a proposal:

  1. Add one or more records to a proposal.
By default, the record header is enabled when you have multiple pages for any hub records in the proposal. You can use the toggle button at the top of the proposal to turn this option on and off.
  2. For hub records that display over multiple pages, the Show Record Header on Proposal option is enabled by default.
This displays the proposal name and page number that is currently displayed.
    • As you scroll through the different proposal pages, the page number of the proposal updates.
    • If you scroll to a different record, the header updates to display the selected record and page number.
You can turn this off using the toggle at the top of the proposal.

This option is for reference purposes only; the record header that displays does not display on the generated proposal.

  3. If you want to hide the Show Record Header on Proposal option for single page records, select the Show record header for multiple pages only option under Document properties.
