Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Select Data Options for the Pipeline Dashpart

Update the Pipeline dashpart by using the projects search filter, dimension type, and time frame drop-down lists. Filter projects using standard searches (All, Active, and Mine) or custom searches. Select dimensional and time frame data to plot x and y coordinates.

Estimated and weighted fee amounts for the selected projects are included on the Pipeline dashpart.

To select the filter and coordinates for the Pipeline dashpart:

  1. In the Navigation pane, select My Stuff > Dashboards.
  2. On the Dashboard form, open a dashboard with a Pipeline dashpart in the Navigation pane.
  3. On the Pipeline dashpart toolbar, select an option from one or more of the following drop-down lists:

    Projects search filter In the first drop-down list at the left, click and select a search filter for the projects that are included in the pipeline. Select one of the standard filters (All, Active, or Mine), use a previously saved search, or create a new search that you can save for future use.
    Dimension Type (x axis) In the second drop-down list from the left, click to plot the dimension by which you analyze the pipeline fees for the projects. Select a dimension option that you want to use for the vertical axis, such as By Month, By Type, or By Organization.
    Time Frame (y axis) In the third drop-down list from the left, click to plot the time frame for the fee amounts that are related to the projects.
    Currency In the fourth drop-down list from the left, click to change the currency for the dashpart (if you use multiple currencies).
    Pipeline Calculation In the fifth drop-down list from the left, click to change the calculation used for the Pipeline dashpart. This option displays when the Resource Planning module and CRM module are enabled.
  4. Click Save.
