QuickBooks Integration with Vantagepoint

When you own both Intuit® QuickBooks® Online and the Deltek Vantagepoint Front Office Package, you can set up integration between the two products.

The integration allows you to use Vantagepoint as a project, planning, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool, while you track your financial transactions and general ledger in QuickBooks Online.

Certain data that you enter in either Vantagepoint or QuickBooks Online is automatically shared and updated in the other product at a time interval specified by your system administrator. For example, the timesheet hours that you enter in Vantagepoint for tracking a project's labor costs are added to QuickBooks Online for processing payroll in QuickBooks Online. Accounts payable vouchers added in Vantagepoint for tracking project costs are added to QuickBooks Online as vendor bills to pay.

QuickBooks Online

The integration works only with QuickBooks Online and not with other QuickBooks products.

US, Canada, and the UK

The integration works for Vantagepoint US, Canadian, and UK customers. However, the reverse charge tax feature is not supported for UK customers.

Online Help

The Vantagepoint online help includes topics for all the possible features that come with Vantagepoint. However, with QuickBooks integration, you have access to only some of the Vantagepoint modules, so you will see topics in the online help for features that you do not have.

The QuickBooks Integration with Vantagepoint section of the help has topics that explain how Vantagepoint and QuickBooks Online work together and where you enter records and transaction in Vantagepoint and QuickBooks Online that are shared between the two products.

The QuickBooks Integration Utility section of the help, under Utilities > Integrations > QuickBooks in the help table of contents, has topics for creating an Intuit developer account and app for Vantagepoint, activating Vantagepoint, completing the Vantagepoint setup, and setting up the integration between Vantagepoint and QuickBooks.
