Metrics Form
Use this form to add, edit, or view schedule-related metrics.
If you make changes to the metrics, or metric libraries, and click Save, the changes are saved to the current workbook. If you want the changes to be included in future workbooks, you must set the Include in New Workbook option on the form.
Field | Description |

Metrics Pane | This pane displays the available metrics, grouped into metric libraries. |
Name | Use this field to enter or edit the metric name. |
Id | Use this field to enter an ID for the selected metric. The ID is included on the Metric Summary Report for traceability purposes. The DCMA metrics that ship with Acumen include the DCMA Unique Metric ID. |
Version | This field displays the metric version. The version is incremented when any of the following types of data are changed:
If you import a metric with an older version number, Acumen displays a warning. |
Description | Use this field to enter or edit the metric description. When you are on the S2 // Diagnostics tab, you can use your mouse to hover over a metric and view this description in the tool tip. |
Remarks | Use this field to add any additional information about the metric. |
Metric Type |
The Acumen Diagnostic Executive Briefing report uses this setting to identify what a metric refers to. The report contains a per-ribbon analysis that specifies each one of the metrics on a Ribbon view. This setting determines the way the data displays on the report for each metric. Select one of the following metric types:

Applies to <analyzer> | By default, each metric is available in all three analyzers (Ribbon, Phase, Intersection). Metrics can be excluded from a particular analysis if, for example, the context is not valid.
