Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Calculated Fields Group on the Metrics Tab

Use the ribbon commands to perform such tasks as create and remove a calculated field.

Calculated Fields

This menu displays when you are in the Calculated Fields view.

Field Description
Create Click to create a new calculated field.
Remove Click to delete the selected calculated field.

Functions

Field Description
Common This menu lists the functions most-commonly used in calculated fields and formulas. In addition to this list, you can enter many other functions into the calculated field or formula.
