Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Run a Targeted Acceleration

Use targeted acceleration to define the acceleration goal and the criteria for acceleration.

To run a targeted acceleration, complete the following steps:

  1. Select the S4 // Acceleration tab.
  2. In the Acceleration group, click Accelerate Schedule to display the Accelerate Schedule dialog box.
  3. In the Schedule Accelerator group:
    1. Select the goal (activity or project) options.
    2. Select an acceleration script. If needed, click Edit Script to edit the selected script or to create a new one.
  4. Click OK to run the simulation.
    After the simulation is complete, an Acceleration Results dialog box displays with the results. You can choose to add the acceleration scenario to your project as a scenario and then run another script, or go to Forensics or Diagnostics, or you can choose not to add the scenario to your project.
