Importing Project Data
You can choose to import all data in a workbook, or only certain projects.
The imported data is stored in the workbook and any successive import will override any existing versions of previously imported data for the project(s) in question. After import, the project data is stored within the Acumen workbook. Subsequent importing is not necessary to conduct repeated analysis.
Re-importing is only required if you want to analyze newly updated data that has changed in the source application. This includes any changes to filters or field mappings.
Automatically Import Schedules
If the Automatically Import Schedules option on the Deltek Acumen Options Platforms (General) tab is selected, as soon as you link the project, the data is automatically imported into Acumen.
If the option is not selected, after you link the project to Acumen, your next step is to import the project data into Acumen.
If you prefer to add filters prior to importing the data, you should not select this option.
